Anton van Heerden is a veteran in the HR and payroll technology industry, with nearly three decades of experience driving innovation and transformation across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond. As the founder and Managing Director of DNA Outsourcing, Anton leads the company’s mission to help businesses expand globally through intelligent Employer of Record (EOR), payroll, and workforce management solutions.
Before founding DNA in 2018, Anton held multiple executive roles at Sage, including Managing Director and Executive Vice President for Africa and the Middle East. During his 20-year tenure, he played a pivotal role in building Sage into a regional leader in business software solutions. His leadership helped scale operations, drive product innovation, and establish strategic partnerships across the continent.
Anton’s career began as a founding member of VIP Payroll, where he helped shape one of South Africa’s most trusted payroll software brands. With a passion for people, technology, and enabling growth, he brings a rare combination of hands-on operational expertise and global strategic vision.
